Philadelphia VIP partners with corporations that do business in Philadelphia to further its mission and help low-income Philadelphians receive access to justice. Partnerships at this level provide significant resources that allow VIP to help a growing number of clients.   TD Bank

TD Bank, America's most convenient bank and one of the 15 largest commercial banking organizations in the , has been a supporter of Philadelphia VIP for the past two years. TD Charitable Foundation hosts the "Housing for Everyone" Competition each year focused on supporting housing stabilization efforts for fiscally-responsible affordable housing organizations from Maine to Florida. In 2008, VIP was awarded $50,000 as a finalist in the competition. In 2009, VIP won the maximum grant amount awarded, $100,000, to help low-income residents of Philadelphia stay in their homes.

The "Housing For Everyone" Competition is part of TD Bank's long-standing support of the community. The TD Charitable Foundation's mission is to serve the individuals, families and businesses in all the communities where TD Bank operates, having made over $53 million in charitable donations since its inception in 2002. The efforts of the Foundation are coordinated locally through TD Bank's community relations departments and are focused on the areas of affordable housing, education and financial literacy, and the environment.

VIP is at the forefront of mitigating the housing crisis in Philadelphia by securing pro bono legal representation for hundreds of low-income homeowners facing homelessness and foreclosure.  VIP is a key partner in Philadelphia’s historic Residential Mortgage Diversion Program, where approximately 1,400 homes have been saved since the Spring of 2008. VIP volunteer attorneys achieved an outstanding 81% success rate in keeping people in their homes this year. With the grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, VIP will continue its successful efforts to prevent homelessness and secure housing for low-income Philadelphians.
