Volunteer Awards

Every year, Philadelphia VIP honors its volunteers at the annual awards banquet. The annual banquet, attended by over 150 volunteers, recognizes outstanding service by individuals, firms and corporations.

The following awards are presented at the awards banquet:

Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. Award

Given to firms and individuals
Firms: Given to firms with significantly greater than 15% participation by attorneys and provide other services.
Individual: Given extraordinary time and effort to VIP over several years.

Chancellor's Awards

Given to Law Firms who have 10% participation of the attorneys in the Philadelphia office.
Given to Clinics and Programs who have collaborated with VIP to match clients, students and attorneys.
Given to Individual Attorneys who have taken 3 or more cases this year.

Business Recognition Awards

Businesses who have provided outstanding support and services to the staff of VIP.

Legal Services Recognition Award

Legal Services staff who provided outstanding support and services to the staff of VIP.

VIPeoples' Choice Award

Individuals who have provided outstanding support and services to the staff of VIP.
